Very nice!
Too bad I don't have the new version of the Killer Penny wired up yet.
I agree with Tim.
Then again, I might be a little biased, having the Killer Penny and all. LOL
I've used several different methods. Another idea is automotive window tint. It reflects, but still allows some light through to the tip.
Old thread, I know......but it's been a while since I've been here.
I love the detail. Something about brass and copper sabers. LOL
I'll have my Snow Trooper outfit, but I'll only be wearing that one day. Most of the time I'll just be in a T-shirt and jeans/shorts. Just look for the Killer Penny though.
Hey all
It's been a while since I've been involved in the saber scene, but I'm going to be at Dragon Con in Sept. Just wondering who else might be there.

Hey guys.
I picked up a very small personal flashlight recently that uses one of these spectacular LEDs. It's called the Fexix PD30. Uses two CR123s. Rated at up to 265 lumens in turbo mode...
I don't remember where I got the switches from off the top of my head, but they're available in latching or momentary and can control two separate circuits each.
If Tim wants to use something...
I like the rounded box better myself, but I may be a bit partial, since that's what's on my Killer Penny saber:

Eandori,
You've helped LED technology quite a bit. I think we should clarify that the clash on flash you're talking about developing utilized a separate LED to give the flash (even in a different...
While I'm not a Moderator here, may I suggest we try to steer the thread back towards the topic of the history timeline please? I appreciate the support for my driver and I agree that there's...
Pretty cool thread.
I think Erv' was trying to compile something like this a while back. I had sent him a rather lengthy email detailing what I could remember. I don't think it got past his spam...
I agree.
Just placing your switch under the stock Graflex button is way easier than wiring up a switch directly to the button. Especially for use in a Graflex, as there isn't much room for wires...
That's cool. Sharing is good. It helps show people that there's still good folks out there.
Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I've just never been very good extoling my own virtues....
Neat idea for a contest. Personally, I think it would be cool for future contests to have others nominate folks and say what they're done, either for them or someone else. Not for THIS contest, but...
Let it never be said that Novastar suffers from insanity......
He seems to enjoy it quite a bit. LOL!!
Great job buddy.
I went in about 9AM and voted. It wasn't too busy, but by the time I was done, there were a lot of people there.
I see Obama won.
Hi all
At this point, it's all I can do to try and be strong for my Mom and siblings. With things being up in the air in regards to how much residual abilities my Dad will get back, it's kinda hard...
Thanks everyone.
A quick update, as I'm on a computer at the library across from the hospital (a few of us are having lunch).....
No real change. We're not sure how much he remembers yet, as...
They caught it extremely quickly. My Dad had a full knee replacement Thursday (a couple days ago). He was actually IN the hospital recovering from that when he had the stroke. I don't know if the...
Thanks everyone.
We just got a call from the nurse that said they'd call after they finished his testing, but they said they can't tell us the results until 9:00 tomorrow morning (well, it's after...
Hi all.
I would ask for your thoughts and prayers for my family during a difficult time. About noon today (Friday), my Father (named Jess) had a pretty severe stroke. He is unable to speak or move...
Pretty nice.
I'm sure there's not much real estate inside there, being 1.25" OD and all. Are you planning to weather it or keep it polished? Maybe just natural handling will weather it a bit if you...
Hi Erv'
Yeah, it was I who started doing those Graflex buttons originally. I ended up running out of the individual parts though (the red button, bezel, etc). I had Ace machine a red button...
