Nice to see you back Karen. Your seat is still in “The Bar”.
For base lit, you only need blade film /cellophane and external sanding.
Ok. Basically what you’re describing is a Corbin style blade. It could also be done with a TCSS blade. You’ll want some type in internal diffusion wrap, and also to sand the external blade...
Thats a latching A/V switch. Here is a post where I discuss that wiring.

You could try using my calculating resistance guide (link in my signature) to figure out which resistor you will need. As long as you’re using one of the accent pads to power the switch LED, the...
Good work.
That might be a stretch (literally). You may be better off with the 3D printed chassis with the removable battery for that.
Seconded.
The diagram looks good, though you will have to cut through a trade on the Neopixel PCB as I recall. Check the manual for location and details.
What kind of battery are you using?
Tims done tons of custom work for me throughout the years. That’s one of the several reasons why I use MHS as a base for all of my designs.
I recommend you put at least a minimal resistor on any LED you install.
Well, have fun with all of that. Good luck, you’re VERY likely to need it.
Welcome back. The CFX is around, you could use that.
I HIGHLY doubt you’re going to find a dual cell setup that can actually fit inside a saber. Besides, trying to feed that kind of Voltage to a single color will likely pop that color, even Green.
The original blade is a string blade of some type as I recall. I don’t think your going to able to salvage that.
I know, I met him at SS II way back in 2011. The Salt episode will always be legendary.
I also wanted to let you know that Simpi passed away, in case you hadn’t heard.
Ok, here is the recharge port pic. It’s pretty self explanatory. Board and battery (+) and (-) go where they’re labeled.

It would make it a bit brighter, HOWEVER, in your particular case, you can’t really do that, because your old MR sound card can’t handle or dish out the kind of power required to run that kind of a...
Parts of them have been used to make various lightsabers in the past.

I don’t think that looks good at all.
Or…. you can just use technologies that have been proven to work.
