I was going to get specific resistors for my switches, but the one I need is currently out of stock. So I was thinking about using DynaOhm. What's everyone's opinion on them?

What's stops the card from falling out? Like right now box 1 just has an recess for the aluminum tops. But wouldn't you need like channels of sorts to slide the card in?
I'm currently in the...
I've done some Googleing, but so far it's gone a bit over my head lol. I really like the idea of a capacitive touch plate though.
I'd love to see what you've done. thanks!
Just wondering if anyone had ever tried to put tactile switches under a clamp card or something like that. I'd love to see what you guys have done, or if you have any ideas of how it could be done.
A box top for Activation Box style 1 that holds a clamp card and maybe a 3D printed insert to hold some tactile switches. So that way we can do some Prequel-esqe control boxes.
So I'm rebuilding a lightsaber. I have an illuminated AV switch that I'm hoping to reuse. But I can't seem to find out if the MHSv1 Nano Biscotte V4 Assembly...
Thanks! I'll see what I can figure out.

This is my wiring chart. Everything left black line has been wired up. I seem to be having some problems though. Firstly my Blue LED's only turn on when touching the negitive wires from MAIN...
So I've got about 1/3 of my Korbanth K4 installed, which in my case is a tri-cree LED, resistors, crystal chamber LED, and battery. I still need to do a second crystal chamber LED, momentary...
What do you guys use to test your individual components? I'm working on my first saber, and I'd hate to get it all put together just to find out that something is wrong.
As the title suggests, what is the best Reds and Blues to use for an RGB saber?
Thanks
So I just got my Vader's Vault REV-N! Sanctified bovine is it awesome!!! I got the RGB AV switch which is pretty cool. But it does one thing that bugs me. It cycles through all the colors when it's...
Very nice saber. I love the choice of parts.
Darkmatter73 thank you so much! I'll check my local auto parts store and see what I can find.
The emitter on the K4 is steel:cry: and if anyone is interested here's the RPF link, he did amazing job modding the K4 https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=275362&page=3 scroll down almost to the...
So I'm working on the weather for my Korbanth K4, and I read on the RPF of a guy who uses a matte clear coat to give the saber a duller worn finish. I clean my part with alcohol, tape it off, and...
Check these ones out https://www.shapeways.com/product/JYPPNR6EQ/korbanth-parks-k4-padawan-all-in-one-var1?optionId=63503394...
I'm sure you've read this already https://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=51756.0 it would appear you only need the PeX if you want to control a 3rd channel, like if you were doing an RGB...
Well I don't know if I can be much help as I'm waiting on parts too, and still tinkering with the weathering. I'm waiting for these things to come in stock, you might want check them out for your...
I love it! It's got a great combination of prequel and original trilogy aesthetics.
Hey, Tom thanks so much for your advice.
The reason I was only going to use one resistor on the two blue lines is that of space (I'm doing a Korbanth K4) or rather the lack thereof. I saw a video...
Hi all, this is my first post, any advice would be helpful!
I recently came up with a wiring diagram for my first lightsaber. I think I did everything right, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to...
