Sorry if I missed it but where is your FoC resistor in the diagram/photo? Also if you're not using the SMD pads on the power extender and have your resistor elsewhere did you bridge the pads or just...

Thanks Jay! I agree, Rob would certainly be great at communicating that concept. I know how I would do it [and have done it] but I'd love to see how others would solve it.
There is that... :)
I just thought it could be a part of any potential chassis building video, for those who would like to know the best way to route wires past full diameter parts you wouldn't...
Perhaps also showing the best way to route wires past your speaker (if you have a recharge port in your pommel or wish to have an illuminated pommel)?
Thanks Tim!
Order placed :)

Just to clarify are you asking two questions?
1) Can the AV switch LED ground (-ve) and switch "ground" connection be wired together then have one wire heading back to the battery?
2) How can I...
You absolutely can do that if you wish, however it will eat up space in your hilt so bear that in mind. There are other connector types (small Molex for example) you can also use. I tend to use...
Looks like a Deal Extreme 3W RGB: http://www.dx.com/p/3w-led-emitter-on-star-multicolored-rgb-4530#.VB9q_mBdX3A
If it is then here are the stats:
Red: 2.5V ~ 3.0V, 350mA
Green: 3.2V ~ 3.8V,...
Just to confirm :) Is that a dynaohm on the main LED? If so then it limits the current to around 20mA (way below what your main LED needs) and is intended for accent LEDs like the one in the switch.
One thing to note for Tri Rebel setups with FoC. If you're using a Power Xtender for NB FoC (and you really must), while a small amount of board current is used via the FoC pad to activate the Power...
It's in the description, a few lines down:

The first diagram takes the negative from the main LED so the AV switch LED will only light up when the main LED does and would be subject to any flicker/ramp effects. The second diagram is how I...
The Tri-Rebels in the store mix well in my experience, here's an ever popular purple mix on a RG(royal)B.
Although the blade looks whitish check out the glow, it's really quite purple in person.

I think it's worth it, I spent a great deal of time trying to find batteries and eventually going with single protected cells from DX, that means holders and possibly soldering your own packs. ...
Second that DW, I'm in Calgary also and went the DX route after chatting to Madcow - took about a month but my 18650s showed up and they work as expected.
That's amazing work, as always.
How do you get those MHS parts to look so well polished despite the ribs? I have some Mother's Aluminium polish, a rag and loooong tv shows to watch but it's never...
LOL :) It's no better in Canada, one parts order actually reached my local post office only to suddenly be marked "Recipient no longer at this address, return to sender". After waiting the...
That's all I needed to hear! Thanks FJK!
I used a tri-rebel on this build and the royal blue with red produces an excellent purple. I've been very happy with the NB - many thanks to Erv' and...
First of all I apologise if this has been answered elsewhere, I looked but couldn't find anything on the topic.
- When using the provided accent LED pad on the NB the accent LED will remain on...
