Thanks! I honestly don't know why I have such a mental block when it comes to circuits. While I don't mind being spoon-fed on some of these wiring configurations, your response gives me more of an...
That would certainly explain it. I didn't think I had anything that old! Would you happen to know the answer to my #2 question?
Also, if I leave out those 3 LEDs seen on Boj-Vaati Mau's diagram...
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately I didn't quite grasp your description.
It looks like my sound board is different, so that maybe part of my confusion. Here is a picture of my Hasbro board for...
Thanks Vazan! I thought I had seen every diagram on these forums, but I seem to have missed that one....
That's a good point Arsies. I'm not sure that would affect the main LED, but I seem to recall from other forum post that these Hasbro boards can only handle (or is it put out?) so many volts.
#1: I think my brain is turning to mush. My LED momentary switch is lighting nicely, but my other accent is not. Any ideas (see wiring diagram).

I agree, that is a museum-worthy piece of art. The way you've adapted the X-wing designs to the lightsaber is fantastic. How did you do the etching, chemical, electro, Laser?
Phew! When I saw the date of your first post, I though this thread might have been long dead. Then I saw that there was a post as recent as August of this year. Really happy to see it's still alive....
Sweet! Thanks! I'll hook it up tonight.
Thanks for noticing that Don Se Wion. I thought I was running the main LED directly off of the battery (through the Buck Puck, of course). I've seen the diagrams using a PNP transistor, but, I must...
Thanks for all your help! Can't wait to get started on building the actual saber! Gonna try to build a chassis/sled for the electronics using the multitude of ideas on the forums.
Wow! Thanks for the quick response! I couldn't get a pick of the wiring so I made a diagram.

The good news is that I think I've figured it out. I assumed that the terminals labelled "+" and...
Greetings all! I've been away from the saber sceen for about 3 years since I built my first basic (no sound) saber. The TCSS community was an enormous help to me in building that first saber. I'm...
Thanks for the help guys. I am admittedly s l o w when it comes to circuits, but I'm trying to learn. Here is my latest attempt:

Thank you Master Jinn! I think that helped a lot. Maybe you can tell me ...does this wiring look right?

Sorry! This should work:

Per Starkiller's question: I have no idea! I took the board out of the saber a...
I disassembled this Hasbro lightsaber so long ago that I don't remember which one it is! One black wire from the card is clearly labeled "LAMP", so I assume it goes to the main LED. But what...
This is what I have in hand so far based on Rhyen Skytracker's tutorial. One black wire from the card is clearly labeled "LAMP", so I assume it goes to the main LED. But what is the other black wire...
Thanks astromech and Skottsaber. So now I'm just left with which wire to use. Rhyen Skytracker's tutorial is great, but I can't tell from the photos what (if anything) that wire is used for. I...
Sorry! The green wire is my optional connection that I would use instead of the purple one.
Never would have expected such a quick response. Thanks a lot! Of course, with every scientific endeavor, answering one question tends to raise many more ...especially if you're as dense as I am. :?...
Greetings! Ihope this is the right place to post this. Believe me when I say, I have spent an obscene number of hours reading through the forums in hopes of figuring this out myself, but...
Any updates on when we can expect the BH 14 and 1000mA Buckpucks?
Thanks for all the tips! And thanks Strydur for the kind offer. The blade makes it into the holder about 80% of its length, so I'm going to try some light sanding first. As for the set screw ...boy...
This is my first attempt at building a saber. I ordered the "LED "TCSS style" Battle blade 1" OD (40 inches)" and the "Screw on LED blade holder style 4". Let me first say that the blade holder is...
