Haha, I know where that piece came from. Was thinking about using some pieces from the Millennium Falcon for a crystal chamber. Tie fighter ended up being built.

Wow, love it. This is honestly one of the best looking sabers from canon to fan made for me.
Well that sucks. I got a PRIZM a while ago because at the time it was the only board with trident. I'll be running 5 total LEDs (rebels not cree) on the same battery. I'll stop thread jacking now......
Why would it indicate low battery via swing sound 30 minutes before the battery gives out though? Per his post he's only chewed through a third of the battery life at that pointt. Seems really,...
Love the old school elements encased with high-tech veneer. This is how everyone's first build should be imo. Who knows when you'll be able to make another, jump into the deep end and throw...
Nice build. Adding a veneer seems like a good direction. Something a bit ornate; add some depth and interest.
About the amp. I bought the same one a while ago and never used it and currently...
If you go to arklightarsenal site there are build logs showing how he developed each core, like the one you posted. Lot of it could be done without a lathe, just depends on how adept you are at...
Nice section cuts; thing is stuffed to the gills.
Looks really good. Kinda reminds me of rocket (?) pops, haha. Could try throw stuff in that catches light (like you're doing anyway) but go crazy with it. Glow in the dark material, treated polyc,...
Won't ever be crystal clear, reason why I put quotes, but it won't have bubbles which imo look silly and not something I'd want to illuminate. A bubble free cast will defuse light, especially if you...
Not sure if it was mentioned but you'll want to degas the resin to remove the bubbles. Only way you'll get it "cystal" clear.
Read through thread and then noticed the massive time gaps. Patience does indeed come to mind; that and sticking to a plan even after being punched.
Should be as acceptable as carrying on a phone; has similar parts but with far less functionality. It's a noisey flashlight.
Love everything about it. A perfect saber imo.
Been lurking for a while, observing and absorbing and had to make my first post to say this saber is incredible. Love the reveal mechanism. It's so simple and practical and doesn't leave anything...
