yeah 2 AA's would only be 2.4v , u generally need to supply a min of 1 volt more than the led wants (the led driver will consume this)
so for a lux 3 , k2 , soul p4 for e.g

yes i was thinking the same thing Arm On Fire. i basiclly have wired my saber exactly the same as yours (just 1 buckpuck tho)after working it out for myself i saw yours and used your wireing diagram...
i too suffer from the same problem,(shutdown sequence sound is cut off) move the switch slowly and it works. also when the batterys are getting low it seems to work ok then.

basiclly i cut it out of sheet alluminium and bent it to my desired shape
hope this link works and helps to explain, easier than me trying to describe.

yeah i love the rough growl of the vader hum ,tho the single clash is a shame.
its the only soundboard i had.
a couple more things about Djin i didnt mention... ...
