I was really pushing a for a purple or Amber blade but the person who wanted this really liked blue.
And I never liked INXS lol
I thought the colors were too bold in the original render and I...

Windows Movie Maker and a YouTube Downloader that converts MP4's to MP3's so I can line the audio and re-post back on youtube so they don't block out my audio.
Kinda one of those "Do as I say, not as I do" things. 8)
Actually, I only use one glove. The hand that holds the sinktube USUALLY gets the glove since the brass can get very hot while cutting....
Believe it or not, I would actually agree with you on this. This is the 5th "Enforcer" we've done. The first two had magenta blades and the second two had red blades. All the previous ones had a...
I've used them too, with pretty good success. But I think I like the "idea" of "hand" filing. Makes it feel less mechanical and more "hand-made". Weird, I know. ;-)

Lord Maul asked me to bring this over here from FX-Sabers... I hope some of you find it useful. As always, thanks to Jay-Gon for helping me get started with dremeling and for all his help over the...
then one of LDM's clones can handle it. ;)
It's actually pretty impressive for ANY try. Nice job, Luke.
Thanks!
No lathe yet. But when we do, you'll be one of the first to know ;) . I'm sure I'll have questions.
The Orion
We had acquired a few MHS pieces that were modified slightly. Nice pieces to use in a custom saber. I cut out 8 rings of brass to use over the grenade section and a top ring for the blade...
Hello all! Here's our latest saber.
The base hilt is MHS and the double-overlays were cut from 1.5 inch sinktubes. The MHS pieces were Powdercoated with "Black Magic", the Main Shroud was PC'd...
Oh...you and your fancy saber lingo! :D
But yeah... great install, as usual!
Thanks, Guys!
I just bought a new bench top polisher...so I'll give this one another coat before it goes out.
I had a feeling that it wouldn't work... and would imagine that it's a weaker formula since to create the foam... alot of air needs to be introduced into the mix.
Worse case, I'll just soak these...

Is that one of Jay-Gon's sabers?
Nice looking saber, draftnbyu... I agree with Obi-dar... needs some grips of some kind. I would stay with something simple... like a leather wrap.

I tried this with the Permatex Gasket remover foam (Permatex 80648 ) and it didn't work. I couldn't find the aerosol so that's why I tried the foamer.
Must be something in the...
Great job....
I have one of these..... so I know the amount of work you put into it to make it that shiny.

Bring me back a pinecone, please.
Very cool idea!
I'm not a fan of control boxes, especially when they are almost in the middle of the hilt... but you pulled this one off nicely! Congrats!
Another awesome hit, Jay. I wish I had something orginal to say.... but I agree with most people here.... this is my favorite of yours, so far!
Also, understand the saber I made is NOTHING MORE THAN A DISPLAY piece. It has never nor will it ever see a duel. It sits comfortably on a custom stand mounted in my workshop and away from kids.
