Concur. Just confused what the manual is telling me.

Battery pack is: 7.4v Li-ion 1050mAh 14650 Battery Pack.
Not a grounding issue with exposed wire. All connections are properly covered with heat shrink.
The accent LED (ring on AV switch) is wired...
