Thanks for the reply Tom. If the worse case would be the port melting, like you said is not likely, thats cool. I’ll give that recharge port a shot. Since I am new to this hobby I really don’t know...
Hard wired meaning through the recharge port as in the Plecter manual? Thank you for your reply. I am new to this hobby and just want to make sure I am doing this safe.
Thats good to know. I have some 22 AWG I planned on using. What about the Switchcraft recharge port thats available in the store? What is the max current rating on that? Would that be safe to use?
Is the Panasonic 18650 10 amp battery here in the store sufficient to power a Neopixel blade? I have read a few places where people say you need a 15 amp. I would like to get some opinions. Thank you.
If you look at that page of the manual it tells you what goes where. I am at work now and can't remember which goes to tip, and which goes to ring. The first time I wired it I got it wrong and had...
Look on page 42 of the Prizm4 manual. The pads are on the underside of the board.
In case anyone is interested, this crimper works on the JSTs you get from the store. Tried it out today and it's perfect.. and at 20 bucks, you cant beat the price.
...
Wow!! That is AMAZING looking. A real work of art buddy.
Cool. Thanks.
I am very new to building sabers (only have 2 under my belt). My first was a NB, and for the second one I tried the Prizm.. have to tell you. The Prizm is AWESOME! Thats all the comparison I have.
Don't feel bad. I had to open my first one a couple of times before i got it right too.
Hello,
I just received some JST connectors from the store and wanted to ask if the model of these connectors is the "RCY". After looking around, I found this crimp tool and was hoping someone...
Thanks. I appreiciate it.
I am buying the protected one from the TCSS.
Awesome!! Thanks.. That little bit of extra room will allow me the Prizm instead of the NB... Thanks again.
Hello,
I am planning a build using a Prizm 4, and wanted to ask if is OK to use the 18500 protected battery that is here in the store. The Prizm manual says the 18650 or 14500 is recommended, but...
Wow! Incredible!! Really really has an organic look. A work of art.
Cool. Thanks. I was playing around with it more last night to see what the difference between the "color mix" and the FoC "on top" looked like. I was also concerned that if i had an fcolor value of...
Yeah, I did read it, wasn't sure if I was understanding correctly. Just looking for an opinion if i got it right bunger.
Hello,
I am using the PRIZM4 for the first time and was just playing around with the color profiles. I think I have a good understanding of how the drive values work, but do have a few questions....
Love the weathering.. Looks great!
Well, after taking the speaker out, right away saw this rip. I bet this happened as i was pushing the speaker into its home in the chassis with my tweaker.. Pressing around the hard plastic edge.......
Yeah. Im going to give it a test out of the chassis before i put it back. I have another speaker here that was going to be for another build. But i'll use it if i ruined mine.
I knew this would bother me at work all day so i just did a quick rip-apart. Possibly the threaded rods in the chassis were sticking out too much. I'm pretty sure the back part of the crystal chamber...
