Hi all,
I was perusing Random Sabers, and I saw a really nice design idea that I kinda wanna try out. It appears to take a standard MHS Pommel, and taking a steel Plug with a D-Ring inserted...
You Gotta love the Store's final words, though.
"If the Jedi keep their hoods up, they'll miss our special Deals!"
My Friends & I are in the process of putting some choreography together for some videos. Other than that, Dueling is actually a pretty strenuous workout, lol.
I was able to see the move through Netflix, and I was pretty impressed. It was pretty magical, And I think we all remember that small nugget of doubt they had, near the end. "Wait, what if Phantom...
Has anyone done a knurled choke? And how possible would it be to have that applied to one from the shop?
A few of my army buddies & I were big into the Pokemon Gameboy Games back in 2004, and we started making up Pokemon names with our own mixed in.
My favorite was Charmander at the time.

Mwa ha ha ha, Charmaynard, the Thread Re-animator!
Wasn't the very first lightsaber in ANH a white blade?
I've done a little of this & that:
Did a Few Years in the Army
Then Waited Tables,
Then Managed Retail
Then Waited Tables Again
Then I got planted in a Cube Farm
When I finish my...
Well, I haven't been able to find these new sabers in North Texas yet. Are they a limited release? Or do y'all think it's just taking a while to trickle through the states?
Interesting.... Thank you!
I've run a search through the forums for this, and wasn't able to find a direct answer, but is it possible to use the Tonfa Pommel cap on a standard MHS Main Body? I'm digging the whole Button on...
I see. I wiki'd Mylar and it mention that it was able to direct heat in one direction, so I thought people might be lining the inside of their hilts, directing the heat down or out away from the LED.
Hi all,
I was browsing my way through the Store, when I came across Textured Mylar Tape. What does everyone here use it for? Heat Extraction? or just as cool pattern on the outside of your hilt?
Well, I think I'll try out the Headless bolt first. I love the streamlined look on a saber, plus it'll help with dueling.
Well, it looks like Random Sabers prefers to use a Headless bolt that's secured by an Allan Wrench, so there's nothing that might get hit by another saber blade.
What's everyone's opinion? ...
Well, I'm still in the process of building my first saber, but it's gonna use a Carbon Fiber Blade. Jedi Hilt.
My first "Show Saber" will have a thin blade, though.:D
Your saber looks fantastic! And I really like the Dual LED Switches!
How do you break a Carbon Fiber Rod?
I suppose it couldn't hurt, lol. Even Ewan McGregor made saber sounds during his choreography practice, lol.
Well, my friend and I are pretty big guys, so I think even when we have the velocities down, we're still only going to go at about 60% when we're filming.
AceRocket,
How's the dueling with the MagLite Hilt?
I'm in Plano, TX. Where are you at in Dallas?
I don't suppose there's some simple way to switch out individual sounds on a sound card, is there? I have a Blade Startup Sound, that I'd love to have instead of the default one on the Econo board.
