DDD!
Awesome! I love the blade showing through! Is the led just a red? cause it looks kinda dim. maybe it's just the camera. If you want a realy bright red, go with red-orange.
Looks goos for a first saber.
hes using corbin film
Very nice! I love the open section near the emitter. Great work!
DDD,
That design is really cool. I like the way you can see the blade within the upper portion of the hilt. Great job. I gotta say, its a hulluva lot better then my first attempt. I scrapped that project and started over.
If you want a tip to even out the blade, you can roll up a sheet of cellophane inside the Corbin film. It did wonders for my underwhelming blue blade.
Eandori made a video showing the difference. Here's a link.

cool, im going to get some cellophane and shove it in there hahaha... thanks for the tip...
yep, its just a red LED, I think I might rock a white or green the next time...
it does look pretty dim in that pic! The lights on in there, well that and my battery isnt charged all the way, so its even more dim! Still working on that issue...
the end of the hilt is still a bit undone, I had some led's in there that lit up and chased, but it was such a pain in the arse fitting all the electronics and whatnots in there (plus they were a bit crooked!) so I took them out hahaha...
thanks for the props fellas, im already working on the next one!
DDD!
man that blade rocks! but i think it would look brighter with some poly p in the corbin film and you will still get the coring
but none the less sweet job
