First Saber Build Wiring Schematics Questions

I haven't bought anything yet, I'm just trying to make sure that I know what I'm doing before I do. Looking to build a graflex with their kit if they ever get more stock. I haven't done any resistor calculations, just looking to see that this setup would work. No real experience in the area, I've only taken a basic electrical engineering course. I'm looking to make a saber with Flash on Clash, an accent LED, no recharge port, and 2 of those AA sized lithium ion batteries. On the NB 2.0 board, if possible. This is the wiring setup I've devised from looking around the forum and was hoping you guys could help me out, let me know if it'd work. Thanks.

The current version of the NB is 3.0, so you can go with that unless you already have a 2.0 in hand.

If you intend to use 2 li-ion cells, be sure you hook them up in parallel. If you hook them up in series you'll get a 7.4v pack and blow out your sound board. Honestly, I'd stick with a single cell. 18650 would get you better runtime and take up less room than a pair of 14500 (AA sized) cells.

I don't see any issues with the wiring diagram, other than your power pack.

I plan to use the battery holder/speaker mount here. I already have a charging station for those batteries and don't really want to try and add in a recharge port on my first build.

You'd need to either rewire the battery holder to operate in a parallel setup, or use one li-ion cell and a dummy cell.

Or upgrade to a Petit Crouton. It runs quite happily on 7.4v.

Another option would be to replace one with a dummy cell, although you'd get less runtime than if you re-configured the battery holder to operate in a parallel setup.
