I have a 2003 Vader ANH, the 6 cell version. Can I disconnect the string blade and attach a Luxeon Rebel Star? I think the mA are good, just unsure of voltage.

I'm pretty sure the conversion is more involved.

Yes, I saw this, and it was helpful. Next time I work on it, I'm going to use my meter and check the voltage drop at the string blade and the current draw. If it looks like the LuxIII specs are close, I'm going to try it. The worst thing that could happen is popping the LED or torching the PCB. I have a rudimentary electrical knowledge, and I'm fairly ambitious. I should be ok.Quote:
