Here is my successful bench test of Prizm 5.1 neopixel strip blade. I'm using no diffusion here, the strips were just rammed into a empty Black Series Kylo Ren blade. No hilt either, the electronics were just set up on the bench. It worked the first time I pulled the kill key! Very easy to wire, easier than in-hilt LED's. I am very impressed. Really cool blades.

did you use a 10a high drain battery?
Yes, not much run time though out of an 18650, this was an older battery. orbtronic. Its my test battery that I use for bench testing. I took it out of saber rotation.
where did you get the light strip and how did you decide to wire it up?

Thanks Warlock. These effects are more the board than me, but this board is not simple. It makes a CF/Prism look easy. Lots of work just in programming the board. But, this board + neopixels + smoothswing are IMHO the tip of the spear right now in lightsaber tech. Everytime I ignite this saber I am thoroughly amazed at its capabilities.
