My Latest MHS

Hi All
Been a while since my last post, so thought I'd put that right by showing you my latest MHS Build

I've gone for an Obi/Qui-Gon feel this time, and I have to say I really love it.

Before I go any further, I want to give a massive shout out to TCSS for allowing JQ Sabers to stock MHS parts here in the UK, saved me an absolute fortune in customs charges.

The external is made up of

Blade Holder 18
V-Grooved Extension
1.2" Double Female Connector
MHS Gear
Extension Style 3
Pommel 3 v2
Pommel insert 6
MHS Sleeve material
Chrome Sink tube, sanded back to reveal the copper base, gives a nice effect against the holes in the clamp
The kill key fashioned in the style of the Greeblie from Kenobi's saber in ROTS
The Graflex Clamp is a spare one that I had laying around from Roman Prop
Clap card is a TFA version from the world famous online auction site. Think the seller was from France, have a couple of there cards now, good for the money.
The Vader Rots Greeblies are from Greeblies for Geeks on Shapeways

Internals are
3.7 18650 Batt
Tri-XP-E2 G,G, Red/Orange
Prizm v4
2W 28mm Bass Speaker
MHS speaker mount
The main chassis was from GOTH-3Designs on Shapeways.

All in all really thrilled with how this hilt has turned out.

I love it! It's got a great combination of prequel and original trilogy aesthetics.

I dig it too. The clamp is a nice touch. Balances the BS on the hilt. Very cool :)

The black sections look great. Paint? Powdercoating?

Yup. Definitely a cool design for sure =] Its like Obi-wan paying full respect for his master if he were to build another new lightsaber such as this

Nice! It's very clean.

I much prefer this to the look of the Ep1 Obi-wan design
