Hello,
I just received some JST connectors from the store and wanted to ask if the model of these connectors is the "RCY". After looking around, I found this crimp tool and was hoping someone could tell me if this one would work.

If not, any recommendations on a good crimp tool that isn't overly expensive?? I don't care if it is ratcheting or spring loaded, or not.

I just use small jewelry pliers and solder the exposed wire just in front of the crimp. Same process I use for all crimp connectors especially when doing automotive wiring harnesses for the rods.

In case anyone is interested, this crimper works on the JSTs you get from the store. Tried it out today and it's perfect.. and at 20 bucks, you cant beat the price.
