How long can a Lithium Ion 18650 sit around (I'm bit behind on a project) Unused. I'm aware that an LI battery should not be left discharged.
Also, Is it safe to connect a LI directly to a recharge Port (No soundboard involved) to charge it?

Yes, it the same as putting it in a charger.
Thank you for info! So I can just connect positive/negative of battery to the correct terminals on the charge port and charge it. (Nothing connected to the third prong on charge port that usually goes to soundboard)
