A question for duelists/fencers

Hey all!! I know some of you guys are in dueling clubs or just fight with your friends (I would if the closest club wasn't an hour away. *Single teardrop*). I mean, what's the point of having stunt sabers if not to do stunts, right?

My question: you guys ever duel with a sink tube saber? How did it hold up? I'm asking because Im working on a saber with an MHS blade holder and pommel, but a sink tube shroud and sink tube extension using two sink tube adapters. I'm loving the design, and I'm loving the low cost (this build is 90% spare parts). But this is my first mostly sink tube build. I try to stick to MHS for it's thickness and durability.

Secondary question to builders of sink tube sabers: how many screws (if any) did yall use to secure the sink tube to the adapter?
