Questions About Obi Wan Kenobi Ep. III ROTS FX Empty

Hello, I am considering purchasing an empty Obi Wan FX Saber from ROTS. I have a few questions before I purchase it however. First off, is the diameter of the blade holder 1 inch? I am making my own blade and want to make sure it will fit. Second of all, is the entire hilt made of metal? I want to make sure I can add 2 retention holes and 2 button holes. Also, is the blade emitter (top of the saber) removable? I want to know since I'm installing my own electronics with a chassis and such. I want to make sure I can connect everything together. Also, just in case I make sure I know what I'm buying, but is this FX from 2010 or 2007? Thank you all in advance!

Who is the manufacturer? There is a recent k4 which is Obi ep3 sold on TCSS which I am building now. All metal with existing retention screw holes. You can always tap a new hole with the kit sold here.
