The future of powder coating

The number one time consuming service we offer is powder coating that requires machining afterwards. As we have taken on more service related offerings over the last few years this has become a increasing issue. The small fee we charge for the additional machine work on powder coated parts in no way reflects the time involved and as such a change is needed. Starting February 15th when powder coating becomes available again we will no longer offer options which involve machining after powder coating. We will see how this effects the workload and hopefully going this route we can do away with the two week on/off cycle we have been doing. We will also continue to look into other options as well as possibly revisit this option in the future. We are sorry we must go this route but feel it is necessary at this time.
