Hey everyone,
As no one asked I guess a compression plug is something common in the US, but I've not been able to find something like that around my place (I live in france) or even on the web. Where do you guys buy these things? Is there a website that sells this kind of stuff?

I find the overheating thing a bit strange. I've used my dremel on stainless steel tube, copper pipe, sink tube and alumi tube. The stainless was the hardest to cut and the tube got stupid hot but not the tool. I find the cutting discs wear to quickly and need to be changed, so turning the dremel off to change discs allows for a fair amount of cooling time.
Def got to have it at max speed for metal.
Then again I've not really polished or sanded, which would mean prolonged usage.

Recif, try searching for a 1.5" drum sander kit. They are pretty cheap and it's basically the same thing. That's what I have used.

Thanks a lot TR,
I'll have a look at that, next time I'll go to the hardware store.

Will the sink tube sold here on the site fit around standard MHS parts? And is this what you guys use to make your kick-ass shrouds?
-
Yes, the sinktube sold at TCSS fits around standard MHS parts. There is also the sleeve material http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MH...rial-P468.aspx which is a bit thicker, allowing for a little more detail work to be done. Most shrouds are done with one or the other of these.
