It would probably be wiser to start with stunt builds to see how viable this technology is.
If it does end up becoming a thing we might see a CF-LS version with an adapted power supply for this technology.

According to the video description, he's using a diode to reduce the voltage going to the board.

Would work great with a 3.7V lipo and a PRIZM V4 card! You pretty much get all the primary bells and whistles that come in a CF or PC card!
I purchased the test package they had.. was not too impressed.
Bummer! Was it not very bright? It seemed to be super bright on that YouTube video of Drac with the Halo gun. I was thinking they could make a solid sheet of it, roll it up and slide it into a diffused polycarbonate tube. It would be nice to have something dialed in that is super bright even in a fully lit room.
