How to achieve Luke skywalker blue

I need opinions. I'm looking to achieve a light blue.

Things I've considered: simple blue led, enhanced blue blade and blue led, mix of blue and white...?

I am assuming by "Luke Skywalker blue...light blue" that you are referring to the blade colour seen in Ben's hut in SW Ep.IV ANH and NOT the colour seen in SW Ep.V ESB which is a deeper blue. The simplest way would be to use a cyan LED, specifically a Bin 1 cyan if you can find one. The more practical way [because it is hard to be certain of getting a specific LED bin] would be to RGB mix blue and green to the desired shade of cyan. The other advantage of RGB mixing is one could have an alternative colour profile for the 'accidental' greenish-blue blade colour seen in the Millenium Falcon training scene ;) if one wanted to have that too. LOL
