The green wire of your diagram doesn't need to be there. Your switches don't even have a pin for that ;) Take it out and you're good.

Well on the four prong tactile switches the diagonal prongs are the switch so you could just do whatever one you didn't use as a common, but I guess you don't even need it haha thanks for all the responses guys, very helpful and I appreciate it!
If you think about it, the orange and black wires are already common between the switches, so they're already connected.
yea, I think the typical tactile switches everyone uses are "always open", which I assumed were "always closed" so it makes more sense that you only need the orange and black in that sense
