Would this even be possible?

So I'm building a saber for my roommate because he's been ogling mine for a while now. He doesn't want sound and ordered a tri cree white white white LED. Is it possible to run that off a 3.7v 18650 battery pack? Pretty sure he's gonna need a buckpuck in addition to the momentary to latching converter since he wants the 12mm av white ring switch. I'm still super new to this all and figured reaching out before I dig myself a huge hole or break something would be the way to go.

You would be better off skipping the Buckpuck, and just using resistors. ;)

Sweet, could I get away with using 3 .5ohm 3w resistors? and A dynaohm for the switch?

Yup, the 0.5 would be right but they are slightly overdriving, which isn't that bad, but getting a 0.6 ohm would be my suggestion... :D
