THE “EVIL TWIN” SABER
I was approached at the beginning of July to do the saber pictured. If you’ve read any of the older EU books, you’ll know who the “evil twin” of Han and Leia was. The picture I was given is out of a comic book (I believe) and is an alternate version of his saber. Obviously, this is all MHS based.

I normally don’t make these posts anymore but someone here on TCSS wanted to see an OLED screen in action in a build. I had designed acrylic disks, which will hopefully be stocked someday, along with some other disk designs I did. Here you can see the general idea of the OLED screen holder in a portion of what would eventually become the saber’s chassis.

The client wanted a “clean grip” (no buttons or boxes in the way near the top), so I see a pair of domed switches as the switch solution (The old Madcow design):
