Old question - Maglite/Brinkmann

I would like to make a saber out of these lights (got them for steals a while ago when I first saw Epi 1).
Any ideas on where to find parts for the Brinkman specifically or should I just get an Ultrasaber

Per MagLite I have a 3D cell one and the Brinkman is 3 C called Legend.

I have been looking at parts here for a while but D emitters are not in stock and unsure if the Brinkman will fit the C emitter.
Any thoughts would be helpful. While I wanted to custom build one i stopped being picky when Last Jedi came out..
