Obi-Wan ROTS Removable Blade FX Question

So I have a quick question on this saber. Since its the removable blade version can it still be converted or no? If so then it'll be much easier since the stock blade holder comes off now and all I gotta do is cut off like an 1 or so then just re-wire the soundboard to the new LED. Anyway, thanks for any info. =] Thinking of converting my saber. Rebel Blue LED, trans white 36 inch pointed tip blade for a more prequel trilogy look. Going to keep the stock soundboard/battery pack, actually like the newer sounds with the removable blade sabers, sounds more realistic I think.
