The Blaster Builders Club is one of the best blaster sites around. Mostly specialising in scratchbuilds, they have tutorials and blueprints for alot of the blasters that are out there. Here is the link http://www.imperial-fleet.com/BBC/community/. Well worth a look. :D So far I have made a DL44 (pics are in the gallery Somewhere) and am currently working on a E11 Stormtrooper blaster and a E5 battledroid blaster.
that is the same mauser I used for my blastech replica. I was a great price. I have a salvaged soundcard from one of the EpI battle droid blasters that I was thinking of modding the ammo clip to hold it and wire the battery pack into the grip, but I have no idea where to put the speaker. Nice Job J-lo. As for custom blasters, good luck finding an affordable pre-made, It is more fun to do it yourself anyway.
Haven't done anything with it yet.
thats a cool nerf gun! all the ones that are made to be used in one hand look like... well... toys.
this sucks now i want that scout pistol... badly... lol
This Nerf blaster doesn't look quite like the same toy after all the mods I did on it.

I use it with my Rebel Fleet Trooper costume in the Rebel Legion.

And yes, it still fires darts.
That looks great J-Lo, you do great work.:D
Thanks Kal. I did put a lot of work into it, more than most people who carry this same blaster with their Rebel Fleet Trooper costumes.
The only thing I'm unhappy with is the fact that I used CA glue to glue the clear(ish) scope tip back on after I painted the inside and added a piece of red fluorescent rod. It fogged the plastic a bit. I should have used a little epoxy, instead. :?
You can make a really nice blaster for $20 or so using those Nerf guns. I started one but haven't gotten very far. The plastic is easy to work with and pvc makes a good barrel or scope if you hack at the toy a bit.
I really enjoy pictures of your projects J-lo, especially your leather work, always impressive.
