i think my parents use meta-chlorine in their pool... ^_^
thanks everyone! i sooo wanted to make it sound like the script for a cooking show but held back in a few places. ^_^
You should not bake painted parts in your oven that you cook food in and the fumes from paint baking can be harmful, I would recommend using a toaster oven in open well ventilate area
i mentioned those things, but not together. its good to stress that though - paint fumes can be dangerous. they can cloud vision, cause asphyxiation, discolor you, and getting it off of you is a real pain.
Great tutorial. I agree, DO NOT BAKE PARTS IN AN OVER THAT YOU WILL COOK FOOD IN! THIS GOES FOR POWDER COATING TOO! My wife is mad at me because I purchased a nice big new toaster oven and am using it for powder coating parts in while she is using a small 12 year old one to cook in. LOL
Rhyen... that was mean of you... you need to get her a new one now too.
also, as a side note, i use the old toaster oven at work that no one uses as often as i can for this. if i can find a small one for a decent price any time soon i might pick it up though...
Got mine at a thrift store for less than $10! Don't know if there is anything like that in Japan, though.
She can buy a Wii for $20 in Japan...
the exchange had a couple new toaster ovens in stock for $20 so i picked one up. and yes, i found a generic Wii for $20 too! but that's off topic... yes, always use a separate oven for baking painted items. Krylon flavored cookies do NOT go over well at holiday parties.
