Should I show how to do a "basic sink tube saber" as well?
Like using one of the TCSS 1.25" blade holders and then wiring it up with a fairly basic electronics setup?
Although--if I show this--it will probably be one I've already wired up... with a single 3.6v Li-Ion cell... and with a "stereo port" as a recharge port.
You realize of course, he(Brian) will HAVE to be wearing a Jedi Outfit...only JEDI or Sith can build lightsabers...according to the visual dictionary, control of the force is necessary to align the crystals to focus the blade......
AND NO ARC WELDERS, PLASMA CUTTERS, MAPP GAS TORCHES or BUNSEN BURNERS!
J/K....Great Idea and I would add a sink tube version for grins.

Are you suggesting that I'm NOT a Jedi? I'll show you! I'll do it in Jedi gear if I have to! It's summer though so it'll probably be a bit warm...and I probably won't be in full attire (ie, skip the cloak) for fear of catching the sleeve on the soldering iron or creating a ton of static or something ;)
Oh, oh, ohhhhh, ok, ok... if Brian says jedi gear, then by all means jedi gear it is.
*folds his arms behind his head, relaxing*
...I'm the camera man. ;)

Awrite, da Jedi Gear is on now!!! :D
Hahaha, love the sinktube tutorial and those calculations at the end. That's some crazy runtime.
That last bit of the video felt alot like a homestar-runner strongbad email hahaha :P
