Light Dagger
I'm calling this one a Light Dagger.
The handle is made from an otoscope. That's the thingy the doctor uses to look in your ears. I found it in a box of junk, missing the head part, and thought I'd try to make a mini-saber out of it.
It's got a green Lux I, running on a 350mA micro puck, powered by 2AAA batteries. The blade was a 3/4" EL blade I got in a grab bag last fall. I pulled out the EL wire, and put in a double wrap of Corbin film, and some cellophane gift wrap.
This is what it looked like before I took it apart.

And here it is converted. I tried not to alter the outer appearance any more than I had to.

The only switch I had that was small enough was this little toggle, and the only place I could put it was in the pommel.

Here's a shot to show you the size of it. About 5 1/2". There's 21" of blade showing.

Here it is, lit and unlit. (With flash.)

I popped a green K2 in Enigma to show scale and relative brightness. Of course, it's not as bright, but it still lights up pretty good.

I don't have any pictures of the innards to show you, but I'll take some and add to this post tomorrow.
