Maw event for Emmett Williams 5-7-2011 just under 4 years old

this is the event i attended saturday for Emmett, he wished, as one of his wishes to meet Darth Vader, so being as i am in the 501st and my main costume is Vader i was NOT goin to let this sweet kid down. tulsa fanforce friends and fellow 501st member Zack , all pitched in money for a VADER Bear, and i made him a belt hanger lightsaber with some flashy leds on it i installed. the intial conversation i had with Emmett, my voice sounded just fine, and was perfect, but after that, i raised my voice because of the background noise and music goin on, just so i knew they could hear me ok, that caused my voice to sound a lil off, but at that point, it didnt matter to Emmett, here was his wish come true, meeting and interacting with Vader.

At first i didnt know i was even his wish, till MAW was talkin on stage and i found out, so at that point, i knew i had to make this sweet lil kids moment one he'd remember forever.

these 2 shots, a group shot of him and us and a single with him and me were taken, and i brought my printer and laptop along, printed off these two shots, and the group one we ALL signed it in character, and the single one on one shot i signed to emmett from Lord Vader

hes holding the lightsaber i made for him and that smile, that smile, it says it all !!!

also he was presented with a form that my friend printed off for admittance to the Sith training academy, with his name on it, and authorized by Me, VADER, signed off by the attending commander, ZACK, and trainer, my friend Lord Waya Nightwolf.

Thats some great work there, its great to see you guys doing something nice for the litte tyke. He seemed to be having fun, i kow i would have. ;)

What a great jobb you did with that little dude. This kind of stuff is what makes saber building Legit IMO. It shows, while we care about our creations, we truly care more about the people involved with them.

thanks, as i said i didnt know tillit was actually going on that VADER was one of his wishes. the one on one duel was cool, and my duel as Vader with him was awesome.
