Does it cost the usual powdercoating rate for clear coat over another coat? Or is it free? And does it cost double to get parts coated with 2 different colours eg a ribbed section with the ribs green and the grooves blue.

You'll have to wait for Tim to respond.. but Id say YES.. as it take materials for each color. (powder)..
Yes clear is a seperate charge as it is applied like any other color.
I dont do many 2 tone parts as its a real pain. The only thing I would tackle on something like a ribbed section is to do the grooves black (or another dark color) and do a see thru color like psycho lime over the whole section as it wont change the color of the black giving the part a 2 tone look.
