Maybe sometime you could try your v3 led strip on a mrfx board, but start taking resistors off the board. I'll bet the brightness could be comparable to a v3 Makototsai saber.
Looks like he already did that. But you don't remove resistors from the board, you bridge the resistor pads (or bridge over the resistors themselves, as I've read some have done) on the blade itself.Quote:
