Thanks Sophia, yeah I'm saving up for the electronics and am in the process of setting up my bench in the basement. So I appreciate the offer for help/advice. Since it's aluminum I'm not expecting a lot of problems with hollowing it out. Just need to finish getting set up to do it so I can do it right.

Hi Aepostle! My name is Sophie, and I own three saberforge hilts. He does get a fair amount of bad press, and alot of it is deserved. I own aa Sinister Prophecy and two Justicars from him, and while I like the way they look, there are some issues - the non-MHS compatible situation is one of them.
