So I was of the impression that the best sound board to scavenge was the "Obi Wan Kenobi" board from the advice on the "2010 Electronic Lightsaber" Forum. From rereading it I realize that was advice on the "El Cheapo" hasbro sabers. I could use advice about the Ultimate FX Sound boards. Which would be best? IS there ANY Difference? Where would I find a tutorial / DVD on the setup of the FX Boards in a TCSS hilt? Thank you for your time and advice so far and any in the future.

It was cool meeting you at Dragon Con. I was wondering though, do you hafve any of the brass boxes without the extra LED hole? I would like it with just the A/V switch, if possible. If not, that's ok.

Hey there. Remember me? Anyway, on your Vindicator II saber thread you said that you used an indexer to measure the holes for the brass rods. What exactly is an indexer? Is it a tool or a math formula? I know how to segment 360 degrees but if you have the secret, please share. I usually just use my protractor and grid paper and make templates.

hey got a question. first off GREAT tut on the economy board. Which actually brings me to my question. My Girlfreind gave me a old Hasbro 2001 dooku to gut for the board.and by the way your tut pics looks like its the same board. is it possible to run it with 4AA's and a red LUX III with out a resistor or puck? or will it fry the board?

There was a thread that I think you started about who's going to Dragon Con '09 and where could we all meet up. I've never been either and would like to at least know some people there. Maybe Saturday before the parade. I thought that the Sheraton main lobby might be good since it's where registration will be, or somewhere that everyone can find. Any ideas?
