sooooo....i tried bridging and i started to see smoke when i flipped the switch...there's a bit of a greasy brown film now on the underside of the board where i did the solder, so i'm assuming that i heated them for too long right?.....the pos and neg wires arent even connect to the LED since i dont even have it yet....i must have did something wrong in my solder.....i removed the bridge and the wires and luckily the sound still works....not sure what to do now....unless here is a way to somehow attach the Lux III by tapping into one of the 4 wires leading to the switch and connect the other side to directly to the battery via a resistor.....i'm just not sure which of the 4 wires to tap into...there's a purple, gray, green, and blue....i'm at a loss

Thanks again for helping me out earlier in the Shoutbox. I was hoping you can help me with a couple of other questions. I was hoping you can help me verify which part is positive...i unfortunately didnt to pick up the multimeter yet. Here's my MR 2003 Vader board:

Lastly, do i solder on the bottom or the top where the pins are? Thanks in advance
