The blade already in the mace windu is a string LED blade (multiple LED's setup on a ladder). Plecterlabs is producting a string based sound board (what drives the LED string and makes the noise in a saber) but its not ready yet.

The only other person I know of that makes an LED string blade type board that would work (and you would have to get one of his blades as well) would be makototsai? But you would have to go to fx-sabers.com or another site to find a way to reach him. He says his blades are more resistant to damage than the MR blades, and they sure are a heck of a lot brighter.
