I don't want to derail Chuck's thread or start an argument, so I will post this here. What Loreen and I were actually trying to point out is that you were absolutely wrong about PVC pipes being listed by their OD. We try very hard here to avoid misinformation that could cause mistakes. At any rate, your advice for people to use calipers is sound.
