7" Fluted with standard style switch hole, MPS Pommel style 4, MPS Insert style 6, Screw on LED blade holder style 12, 7 Piece rubber grip set 3.6", Switch Bezel Nut, LED "TCSS style" Battle blade 1" OD (36 inches), and 2 Black O-rings. Currently powered by Lux V Blue with a 9v battery. May end up moving the Lux V to my saber in progress cause I prefer the 6 AA...this hilts too short to fit the AA battery pack.

9V? Sheesh:rolleyes:

No one should EVER use a 9v battery to power an LED saber.

Other than that, nice start.

Why not use a 9v battery? Its got the voltage and its got about as much Mah as most li-ions.

Um, no. The 9v only puts out 300-350 MA total. MAH is not the same as MA. So you're starving the LED for current.

All the batteries I have ever seen were listed under there Mah rating and not there MA rating.

I dont remember but its been a min but I have seen some really good 9V rechargables cause I remember there was a 9v bash a year or so ago and I started looking.

Your post makes little sense.

Regardless, 9Vs do not have the current necessary to properly drive a Lux V.

Fender is right no 9v are good near or over an amp. Rechargeables will overheat & catch fire or explode as well. 9 volts are good for voltage but not current.;)
