Noob in need of help!

ok i need help for finding a way to light the blade using a crystal and crystal chamber and no one has really helped more just yelled at me

You can't light up the blade with a crystal. Crystals and crystal chambers are just for show, they serve no functional purpose in the lightsabers we build.

Please slow down and stop asking questions till you have done some actual reading, then you can ask more informed, and specific questions.

You put the crystal chamber below the LED/heatsink to give the illusion that the light is coming from the crystal. Now, read.....read.....read..... There are tons of information on here and most of the answers to your questions have already been answered you just need to search for them. I know I read for over 3 months before I even posted. I found the answers to all my questions were already answered.

I found it easier to build a basic hilt, so that I had an Idea of how things fit in it, then expand and elaborate on it

alright but.... here is what im thinking i could do. build the hilt it's self first and then get all the stuff for it after i shoot my movie.

ok im making a star wars vid. And we r pressed for time because every one is waiting on me. So what I want to do is order the parts and then use the basic empty hilt for the vid and then buy the other parts after. So to put it in simple terms ill just use the shell of the light saber to make the movie

Yep, that will work. You can always rotoscope a blade on it with software after you shoot the footage.

mhs would be your best bet... just disign your hilt in the saber builder... then make a list of all the hilt parts you will need then order! :D adobe after effects is good for retroscoping sabers btw you can get the demo of it online. :)
