The Sith Hammer by Saber Concepts (pic heavy)

Hey folks,

This is actually my first post here on TCSS but I've been a long time lurker. :)


I finally got around to writing up a proper review of my newest custom lightsaber. The Sith Hammer. This baby was designed by me and expertly handmade by Wade aka Rhyen Skytracker of Saber Concepts. This is my third Saber from Saber Concepts and it's a true beaut. This Saber was designed a few months ago as a gift for a friend of mine who is a huge Star Wars/Jedi/Sith/lightsaber fan and will be his Christmas present. He has no idea about it and is the kinda guy who doesn't get cool gifts very often and after seeing one of mine on halloween he was smitten. So I hope he loves it as much, if not more than I do. It's gonna be hard to give this away :P. Anyway onto the specs:

The Sith Hammer is totally hand machined out of aluminum and brass and comes in at around 13.5 inches in length.

It's sporting:
• an HFX Yoda card
• a green CREE LED
• a custom brass control box that houses a red latching illuminated AV switch and a bright accent LED.
• an aluminum Covertec wheel

Wade did an outstanding job machining this and wiring it all up. I love the brass accents and different beveled grooves. It's certainly reminiscent to one of his Darth Revan sabers he's done in the past as I love what he did with those, I merely redesigned it to my liking. So Wade I can't thank you enough for the terrific job you did on this. Your a superb craftsman and a good friend.

This, is a really classy job Wade! Everything is very clean and I like the brass ring on the emiiter and the venting on the bladeholder. Very cool.

Yeah Wade that is some good work there. Shame it's only got a Yoda board, kinda deserves a bit more oomf in the lumin department.

The switch plate is very good, I see a lot of JQ's sabers with that sort of plate.

And the brass accents and very nice. I love brass accents on sabers.
