Blue Accent LEDs

Anyone know where I can snag some Blue Accent LEDs? I looked through google but I'm not 100% sure of the ones I can and cannot use with my US 2.5. Thanks

i have tested blue 3mm white 10mm and the red 3mm sold in TCSS

they all work great the accent led pad's on the US 2.5 put out 3V i have ben told but i have not tested it

the US 2.5 drives the LEDs with 1.65 volts @30ma.

A 2 volt LED will work too.

this is astro on eco's profile. im at his house.

anyway you could wire up your US and check the output of the accent LED connections on the board for both volts and amps. then find one that works under that.

then go to RS and pick some up. i think they use general 2.1 volt 20mA 5mm LED's. but you should check the output anyway with a multi meter.

Really? My local one has accents anywhere from 1.9 volts up to 12 volts with integrated resistors.

Sorry.. :( I've found that you can get much more powerful leds from stores online than what's available at RS anyway.

Makototsai LEDs the you can order from TCSS.

'Nuff said.
(But I'll continue anyway...) Those stinkers are really, really bright! And you get better color choices than you would from the Shack. Purple, Yellow, Blue, Green, sometimes Red.
