THE WIRE THING IS A COOL IDEA AND I AM PLANNING TO EMPLEMENT THAT IN IMPROVING MY SABER. I ORIGIONALY GOT THE IDEA FROM A QUACK & BUSCHE PNEUMATIC DRILL THAT I USE AT WORK. THE DRILL LOOKS REALLY VADERISH.

cool...nice to see someone using a grip sleeve in a unique way. I've considered many ideas like cutting or drilling them but no ideas that flowed with any of my designs yet. Good job!

That's thinking outside the box with the way you used those parts.

I agree with all. Sweet saber. I really liked the less than usual placement of the choke. This saber is just plain fun to look at.

I even think the choke on the over sized v2 pommel looks good going to the gear like that.

from the image(s) I saw..I dont see how you got a blade holder into the sleeve section?

(I guess I could go back and look..eh?) :)

thank you all so much,
I am really pleased with this saber. sorry it took so long to reply to this thread.
making this saber was like fulfilling a childhood dream I've had since I was a little kid watching Darth Vader inspect Luke Skywalker's new saber in ROTJ.

-Thanks to all

The first thing that I noticed about this hilt was that it was very 'clean'. Me likey. Is the button w/out the bezel functional?

Great looking saber. Looks like you had to make a bypass to get more power. Very cool.

That is a nice design! It has clean lines and yet has layered detail. Do like =D

The cabling adds a nice extra sci-fi touch to it too. I hope you have a couple other designs up your sleeve. I'd be interested to see what else you come up with.
