Battery Pack

Im using an Aribiter style hilt from Ultrasabers. Its all MHS parts from the TCSS, even the battery pack. Its wired for sound to. Now my problem is i keep snapping the neck off of the battery pack, the part where the speaker mount fits to the springs at the bottom of the pack. I just had to order my 3rd pack to replace the 2nd broken pack. Any suggestions or ideas as to what i can do to reinforce it or keep it from happening?

hello there! what type of batt. holder is it? i.e. 4 aa, 4aaa, or 2 aa size? if you can take some pictures that would help to! lol but the problem may be from pressure from something inside the hilt that is causing this to break. but like I said before prehapes a few pictures couldn't hurt. thanks!:p

Pics would be good. Without looking at it, maybe some 2 part epoxy? that stuff hardens like steel when it dries. Not too much, just a thin layer. But without seeing it, it's really hard to say.
