clash sensor schematic

I've searched and searched...but have been unable to find a schematic layout for the clash sensor sold in the store. I'm trying to design a clash flash system similar to the one Novastar described in another thread (bah...can't find the reference) about using a clash sensor to route the LED voltage through a bypass loop, something like this:

I'm also curious if anyone has tried a clash flash system by overdriving the LED during clash (1000 mA for a Lux V) and running rated current (700 mA for a Lux V) during regular operation. I'm curious if the difference is noticeable. I'm planning on running a blue LED with this setup.
