I have seen many logos related to SW, but I'm not sure who/what they represent. I am pretty sure about the Imperial(4) and Rebel(3) logos, but what of the others? Can you guys help?

Sorry, the numbers precede the images and number 5 didn't lign up right. The last 2 were on the Jedi/Sith 2 combo posters with half face Anakin/Vader. What of number 2? Has anyone seen that one?
Is there a Sith counterpart to number 1?

Number two is seen in Episode III on the platform thing where Palpatine stands as he adresses the Senate concerning the creation of his new Empire. So maybe number two is the symbol of the Senate?

Could #2 be the sigil of the Republic? Remember, # 3 was for the Rebellion, not the Republic.

I beleve #2 is the sign of the old republic and was changed to the rebel symble after the fall of the empire

Ha...just thought about googling it. #2 shows up as the emblem of the Galactic Republic.

I have googled this to death but haven't come across a deffinitive source. Maybe I should write Umberto Eco [:)].
As far as I can tell so far from different sources it's kind of like this:
1 - the symbol of the Jedi knights from a game only; it does not appear in the movies
2 - the emblem of the old galactic senate
3 - the symbol of the alliance and of the new republic
4 - the imperial seal
5 and 6 - the emblem of the pre-imperial Jedi council

Please correct me if you have better info.
