Hey guys I am about to wire up my new av switch, but I need a quick hand.
I have, it ran like this now (Bat +, old switch, LED, resistor, back to bat-)

Should I run the new resistor between the Bat+ and new AV Switch?
Or does it even matter?

you will need the appropriate resistor for the led inside the switch, not sure if it matters what side of the circuit you put it on but im positive (no pun intended) that you will need it between the switch and the battery, I have only used drivers before so i'm not 100% on it... hope that helps as im sure you are looking for a quick answer.

Go to the Store page and the LED Resistor Chart. Put in Illuminated Switch, your battery solution and click Find Resistor, it will give you a wiring diagram for the switch. This does not include the resistor for the main LED in the diagram.

I get the LED wires need to go but I can not figure out the rest of the contacts.
Has anyone used the switch and have pics?

Nope, you're not turning the main LED on and off that way.

You're not using the switch itself at all in that diagram.

Did you go look at the resistor chart on the Store page like I suggested?

Here's a quick diagram I made by copying and pasting 2 of those diagrams together and adding tags for the 2 resistors:

So positive to contact one. Contact two to + contact, + contact to LED resistor to positive contact on LED. Negative LED contact to negative battery but split off to Switch resistor then to - contact?
